A couple of things we can't do
Most retail notaries, ours included, run into the same two limits. Knowing them ahead of time saves you a wasted trip.

X Apostilles. That's a separate certification from the Secretary of State's office, not something a notary adds. We can still notarize the underlying document.

X Full loan signings or closings. A single real estate document is no problem, but a full closing package usually needs a specialized signing agent. Call and describe what you have, and we'll point you in the right direction.

What is a notary public and why do I need one?

A notary public is a state-commissioned official who verifies your identity, watches you sign, and certifies that the signature is genuine. Many legal, financial and government documents aren't valid until a notary signs off on them.

What do I need to bring to get something notarized?

Bring a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license, state ID or passport, along with the document itself. Fill out everything except your signature, since you have to sign in front of the notary, not before. If more than one person needs to sign, everyone has to be present with their own ID.

Do I need an appointment?

Not usually. You can typically walk in during notary hours (Mon–Fri 9am–5pm, Sat 10am–1pm), but availability isn't guaranteed since one team covers the counter. If you're making a special trip, call ahead to confirm the notary is in.

Do you offer mobile or traveling notary service?

No, our notary works on-site at 10 State Rd only. If you can't come to us, ask us for a referral to a mobile notary in the area.

Do you provide apostille services?

No. An apostille is a separate certification issued by the Secretary of State's office, not something a notary can add. We can still notarize the underlying document; you'd take it from there to get the apostille.

Can you notarize a real estate closing or loan signing?

We handle standard real estate documents, like a single deed or affidavit, but a full loan signing or closing usually requires a specialized signing agent. Call ahead and describe your document so we can tell you whether we're the right fit.
